We sent our intrepid tutor Eleanor Rastall to explore performance anxiety, in a seminar run by the Incorporated Society of Musicians. How do nerves affect performance? How can they be dealt with? How can you help others to deal with nerves and enjoy performing? Eleanor reports back...
We had three amazing days making music at Charlton House, with choir sessions, musicianship, taster instrument lessons with guitars, violins and wind instruments, film soundtrack composing, making our own ocean drums, and creative free-composition & notation sessions... plus plenty of apple juice, and lunchtimes on the lawn!
Our third concert of music groups marked the end of the first ever year of Greenwich Music School! One year ago, none of these groups existed.
